Why is this my mission?
There was a time where I was feeling overweight and dis-empowered in life. I knew I needed to do something to progress, but I was uncertain of where to start or what would get me to my goal of becoming stronger and losing body fat. Starting in the gym showed me a side of myself I never knew existed.
I went through a genuinely life changing journey that began with learning how to eat and exercise correctly to build strength and lose body fat. As I was going through this journey I was inspired by other women I saw in the gym and feeling the changes myself, I started taking on new challenges.
I progressed to advanced strength training, competing in triathlons, becoming a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, taking on Spartan obstacle races and falling in love with long distance trail running events. I learnt how incredible exercise is for creating overall strength, confidence and independence and I wanted to share that with others.

I liked the flexibility I had, as long as I met macros within my calorie count. It wasn't a straight no, you can't have that sweet treat, I never once felt bad for eating chocolate or cake. It's more about understanding have you eaten your protein intake for the day/week.. that cookie or cake is totally fine if that is what you mentally needed at that moment.
After two years of lifting and feeling like I reached a plateau, eating help me increase my PBS. My deadlift PBs increased from 90kg to 135kg. I could finally see changes in my body, where I could see my quads! And my confidence in weight lifting from like a 6/10 to 8/10 (I'll always be afraid of lifting higher).
I realised my lifting technique was getting better also and recovery time was much faster. Less injuries, or healing of muscle strains was much faster. I think mentally also the ability to not feel bad about what you're consuming removed stress and feeling bad about myself.
I didn't feel judged, there was always an understanding, or a chat to help me understand as to what had caused me to stray away from the plan in certain weeks and that was ok (as that's life).
If you want a judgement free Nutritionist, who not only helps you achieve the goals you would like to reach but also helps you understand balance is key - this is the person for you.
